Here at <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/44" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Abeking & Rasmussen (Company)">Abeking &amp; Rasmussen's</a> sales department, we are regularly confronted with new challenges, special requirements and basically always very individual wishes. Over the years, we have noticed that yachts and other ships are specified with very low noise and vibration figures. Of course, these values are a challenge for every shipyard, because the quieter a vessel becomes, the louder incidental noises are perceived that otherwise disappeared in the background. Since we already know from the naval sector what is important, it is comparatively easy for us to meet high requests regarding noise and vibration values. Mine-hunting boats have to be designed in such a way that they are as well protected as possible against mines. Therefore, attention must be paid to a shallow draught, a reduced intrinsic magnetic field and also a particularly low noise level.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/8499/image/large-e34ab68c52f3a3f3714244a533bd0637.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/8499">We are also grateful for every designer, and especially every designer we have not worked with before, who continues to bring unprecedented design requirements and fancy ideas to us. In recent years, we have delivered several yachts built under the guidance of renowned studios such as <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/2" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Terence Disdale Design (Company)">Terence Disdale Design</a>, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/82" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Espen Øino International (Company)">Espen Oeino</a>, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/17" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Bannenberg & Rowell Design (Company)">Bannenberg &amp; Rowell</a>, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/69" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Winch Design (Company)">Winch Design</a>, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/168" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Harrison Eidsgaard (Company)">Harrison Eidsgaard</a> and <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/56" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Reymond Langton Design Ltd. They know each other and know roughly what design specifications to go for.&nbsp;<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/280121/image/large-a8b36c5277760081ecb6711350eaea7f.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/280121">Our current build number 6507, on the other hand, involves the French design studio <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/5167" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Joseph Dirand Architecture (Company)">Joseph Dirand</a>, which has not yet been mentioned much in the construction of superyachts. On the one hand we were a bit sceptical and on the other hand we were very new-minded and excited at the beginning and it also took a longer time of learning and explaining until we arrived together at the starting line and understood what one wanted from the other. This gave us the chance to look at the project from a different perspective and to consider new design ideas in our Naval Architecture. "Sleak, Clean and Spacious" was the overall brief.&nbsp;All technology, piping, visible equipment, etc. should preferably be invisible, which of course cost our construction coordinator many sleepless nights. However, he and his team have benefited greatly from the designer's ideas and working methods and have developed considerably as a result. Now the ship is almost fully equipped at the pier, the first sea trials have taken place and we must honestly say that we are absolutely thrilled with the feedback from the industry. <img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/856/image/large-70e7dbf678c0d95f729f3c88503577e4.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/856">In turn, every new customer also means new inspiration for us to create something extraordinary. Italian yacht builder Ferretti Group has denied rumours that they had a possible interest in acquiring The Italian Sea Group (TISG).

Italian yacht builder <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/4876" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Ferretti Group (Company)">Ferretti</a> has announced that the KKCG owned shareholder Azúr a.s. has initiated legal proceedings challenging the appointment of the new board of directors at the company's shareholders' meeting on 14 May 2026.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/394210/image/large-3bfd53739fbb59d4d9e5f0968bf4da9e.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/394210">According to a statement released by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/4876" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Ferretti Group (Company)">Ferretti</a> on 11 June, Azúr filed a writ of summons before the Court of Bologna on 9 June 2026 pursuant to Articles 2377 and 2378 of the Italian Civil Code.Azúr a.s. is a wholly owned part of KKCG’s global business, founded by Czech entrepreneur Karel Komárek. <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/5565" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="The Italian Sea Group (Company)">The Italian Sea Group (TISG)</a> has announced that the Court of Florence has partially lifted protective measures for five shipowners, following the company's ongoing negotiated crisis settlement procedure.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/367061/image/large-152c0f12c19271f70607c9687ef33098.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/367061">On 16 March, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/5565" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="The Italian Sea Group (Company)">TISG</a> announced that it had initiated a negotiated settlement procedure under Italian Legislative Decree No. 14/2019, following internal financial irregularities. This legal framework aimed to enable them to restructure, while continuing to operate under the supervision of an independent expert.Following this, on 20 April, the Court of Florence granted protective measures for a maximum period of four months, restricting creditors from initiating or continuing enforcement actions against the company’s assets, including vessels currently under construction.The court also confirmed that these protective measures extended to shipowners, which prevented them from terminating their contracts of yachts currently under construction during the proceedings.The Court of Florence has now issued an order upholding the appeals filed by five shipowners which prevented them terminating their contracts.
