The explorer yacht has been over four years in the making since the Norwegian yard Ulstein announced it would be building the project back in 2016. The vessel’s offshore-grade platform was developed by Ulstein’s in-house team of engineers while Espen Øino was selected by the owner to further develop the exterior lines and the general arrangement of the vessel. The enormous internal volume of 4,898 GT comes from Olivia O’s hefty beam of 16.3 metres and the high freeboard created by the ship’s unique X-Bow hull shape, developed for use in unforgiving North Sea conditions. Some of her onboard features include a massive swimming pool on the main deck aft, a commercially-rated helicopter deck with a D-value of 16 and outdoor sports field on the upper deck aft. A subtle two-tone exterior finish in white and light grey gives Olivia O an athletic look together with her raked mast and swept wheelhouse wings.
