Built in 2018 in Italy, she completed her latest maintenance refit last month at Monaco Marine’s La Ciotat facility. Featuring an exterior design by Hampshire-based designer Tim Heywood and interiors by the German design studio Fitz Interior, the explorer yacht was built for world cruising and unlimited adventuring. A recommended charter choice for colder regions, she offers an impressive itinerary for Greenland and is equipped with a fleet of tenders and helicopter capabilities with a commercial landing pad on her upper deck. Planet Nine is powered by twin Caterpillar Inc engines with 2,575 hp reaching a top speed of 16 knots and cruising at 14 knots.
