Explorer yacht Ulysses nearing completion in Bremerhaven

New photos of the 107 metre Kleven-built superyacht Ulysses reveal the yacht in a near completed state, preparing to depart Bremerhaven. Ulysses, whose interior is designed by H2 Yacht Design, arrived in Germany in August having sailed from the Norwegian shipyard unfinished. Dörries Marine has been working on completing the yacht in the final outfit stages since then.

The images clearly shows Ulysses’ 21 metre tender named U-21. The craft was custom designed by Teknicraft in New Zealand, and built by Composite Projects Ltd. to meet the owner's deep-sea fishing and comfortable cruising requirements. The tender is propelled by 4 water jets driven by quad engines. Inside is accommodation for 7 guests in 5 cabins. The tender will be stowed on Ulysses’s foredeck and served by two enormous cranes fitted especially for this purpose.

Kleven is currently constructing a second vessel for the same owner, this time a 116 metre version of Ulysses.
