Previously named Tyr, she was launched in 2007 by the Auckland-based yard Flyghtship. The 568 GT explorer yacht  features naval architecture by Pieter Beeldsnijder Design who also collaborated on the exterior lines with the Flyghtship team. Her interior lines are from the drawing boards of the Australian studio Anthony Bedford Design. Her most notable features include a large helicopter storage space, five staterooms for up to 10 guests and six cabins for the crew of 12. Powered by twin Wärtsilä 6L20 diesel engines of 1,470 horsepower each, V6 can reach a top speed of 15 knots and cruises comfortably at 13 knots. She is able to reach a transatlantic range of 9,000 nautical miles when cruising at an economical speed of 10 knots.
