Extra Yachts has announced the launch of the second 30.17-metre X99 Fast yacht, Mini K2. The Extra motor yacht was launched in Ancona, Italy, following the launch of the first unit in October this year.
The X99 Fast yacht is a pure-bred Italian motor yacht and features naval architecture penned by Palumbo Superyachts with exterior styling from Francesco Guida Design. She has been designed with unmistakable lines and a dynamic profile that makes her stand out in a crowd.
Mini K2 is characterised by large volumes and a unique layout, with innovative solutions such as her 75 square-metre beach club that slopes towards the sea. This unique space includes fold-down balconies, as well as a lounge zone, sun loungers and an extendable table, capable of seating up to 12 guests.
The modern and dynamic layout of Mini K2 has been designed for the owner who loves conviviality and direct contact with nature. Mini K2 is able to accommodate up to 10 guests across four spacious staterooms. She also has a planing hull made of carbon fibre composites, and offers great stability, manoeuvrability and comfort.
Mini K2 is equipped with twin 2,600 horsepower MTU engines, coupled with water jets for a top speed of 37 knots, alongside a soundless and comfortable ambience. The Extra X99 Fast series has been optimised for the American market, and just like her sistership, Il Sogno she will also be based in Miami.
