Falcon Rydell to manage Pretty Woman

Yacht management company Falcon Rydell has been granted the contract to manage the 39-metre motoryacht Pretty Woman, currently under construction at Hakvoort Shipyard in the Netherlands. The company will be responsible for operations, maintenance, finance, crew and safety, with the yacht flying the Dutch flag and available for the 2010 Mediterranean charter season.

Upgrading from a 26-metre yacht to a superyacht close to 40 metres, the owner of Pretty Woman recognises that his new acquisition will require an altogether different approach to organisation and management,” says Arne Feenstra, who is in charge of this project at Falcon Rydell. “Our wide range of yacht management and support services will ensure that everything is run to the highest standard of professionalism.”

Another key reason for working with Falcon Rydell is the company's Dutch-government-approved VAT programme. Called CCV, the tax structure is fully approved under Dutch law for a period of two years in advance.

Pretty Woman’s owner is especially interested in having a safe, secure and transparent VAT scheme,” adds Feenstra. “He is a real gentleman who desires that everything is carried out to perfection, without cutting corners in any way.”

A luxury ocean-going motoryacht with a steel hull and aluminium alloy superstructure, Pretty Woman’s modern nautical-style interior will provide accommodation for up to 10 guests and an impressive array of social areas. A highly flexible layout makes the yacht ideal for chartering. All guest cabins have single beds that can be combined into doubles, while the two aft cabins can be merged into a single VIP stateroom.
