The Maxi Dolphin shipyard is currently working on a new 100-foot superyacht, the FC100. The yacht’s hull and waterline were designed by the French naval architects Finot-Conq, and the minimalist interior concept was designed by Pierre Frutschi, in close collaboration with the owner, and will feature matt white surfaces, in combination with polished black furniture, and indirect lighting, which will create a bright and spacious interior.
The yacht’s cabins are fitted with ultra-light, thin carpet to meet the owner’s need for comfort without compromising the boat’s sporty appearance and incredible lightness. In fact, the FC100 has been designed so it does not exceed 51 tons.
The boat is provided with a Lifting keel and two rudders, and is entirely built in carbon and Nomex, using the Pre-Preg construction technology.
The shipyard plans the launch of FC100 for May 2013. The owner and his team have already planned a racing schedule, which will start from the end of 2013. They will be in the Mediterranean at Maxi Rolex in September 2013.
