The luxury motor yacht was built under the project name SL39 mk3 and has now been christened GO and left the shipyard yesterday for final fit out and sea trials before delivery in April. The 39 metre yacht is powered by twin 1,055 hp MTU 12V 2000 M70 diesel engines, which provide her with a maximum speed of 14 knots and a transatlantic range. After completion <a href="#managed-by-application" data-legacy="true" data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/1129">GO</a> will head to the Mediterranean from where she will be available for charter through Feadship Charter. The Italian Sea Group has announced the sale of the first 40-metre Admiral Quaranta motor yacht, just a few months after unveiling the new series.

In their latest financial announcement, the Board of Directors of <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/374" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Sanlorenzo (Company)">Sanlorenzo</a>, led by Chairman and CEO Massimo Perotti, convened to examine and approve the periodic financial information as of 31 March 2024.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/250520/image/large-0a3fbeca280e8c3933c53ff570e0aa4f.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/250520"><a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/374" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Sanlorenzo (Company)">Sanlorenzo</a> kicked off 2024 on a strong note, demonstrating sound financial performance in the first quarter. Additionally, EBITDA rose to €34.1 million, up 9.5% from €31.2 million, while EBIT saw a 6.5% rise to €25.7 million.&nbsp;An in-depth analysis of the factors contributing to the growth in Net Revenues from New Yachts reveals that the Superyacht Division played a significant role, reporting €58.9 million, which represents a notable 27% increase compared to the same period last year. The Yacht Division also performed robustly, generating €114.8 million, albeit slightly below the previous year’s figures. Meanwhile, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/5648" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Bluegame (Company)">Bluegame</a> continued its upward trajectory with revenues of €21.0 million, a 5.8% rise.&nbsp;Geographically, the APAC and MEA regions exhibited growth. In APAC, net revenues from new yachts surged by 30.2%, from €20.1 million in Q1 2023 to €26.2 million in Q1 2024. The MEA region also showed strong performance, with revenues increasing by 25%, from €13.9 million to €17.4 million. However, Europe and the Americas experienced modest growth, with Europe slightly increasing by 0.5% and the Americas by 2.8%.<a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/374" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Sanlorenzo (Company)">Sanlorenzo</a>’s order intake for Q1 2024 remained stable at €168.2 million, consistent with the €170 million recorded in the same period last year. The company’s backlog as of 31 March 2024 stood at approximately €1,209 billion, of which 88% is already sold to final clients.
