The 46-metre motor yacht Highlander is for sale. The Feadship yacht for sale, was built in 1986 and underwent a major refit and redesign in 2014, bringing her up to today's standards. During this two-year refit, her hull was extended, all of her equipment and mechanicals were upgraded, quantum zero speed stabilisers were installed and world satellite and entertainment systems were added.The motor yacht for sale features interior and exterior design by Bannenberg & Rowell, and naval architecture by De Voogt Naval Architects. Bannenberg’s original exterior design was maintained during her redesign, and her exterior lines were strengthened with new sharp edges and stainless steel guard rails. An extensive new paint job saw her hull transformed into a deeper, dark green.
Highlander’s newly modernised hull now includes an open-planned interior, with seven staterooms sleeping up-to 13 guests. Her master suite is on the main deck forward, and includes his-and-her marble bathrooms, 180-degree views, a private office and a floating king-sized bed. Additionally, there are six renovated guest suites, each complete with marble en suite bathrooms. Her interior includes a full-beam saloon with floor-to-ceiling windows that fold open to the main aft deck creating one continuous open entertainment space, a media room with surround sound, a massage room and a wine cellar. Highlander’s sky lounge also features floor-to-ceiling windows for panoramic views. In the evening, this space transforms into a disco, with a bar.
Highlander’s expansive decks are just as spacious as her interior, with a full-beam swim platform and oversized extendable hydraulic platform. Her teak steps lead you up to an enlarged aft deck with seating and a bar. Her top deck has been extended forward, and includes a built-in seating and sunbathing area, a bar, and a Jacuzzi. Highlander’s helipad can also double as a round sun deck. Her middle deck includes sunbathing beds and she has multiple al fresco dining areas.Highlander is powered by twin General Motors 16V 149 diesel engines, giving her top speeds of 14 knots and a cruising speed of 13 knots. She has a range of 3,000 nautical miles and has the capacity to hold 75,600 litres of fuel for far-flung journeys.
