The yacht was fully engulfed in flames, with land based emergency services arriving at the scene in seven minutes and immediately deploying a water jet from the pontoon to fight the fire.<a data-gid="gid://syiq/Yacht/2768" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Eagle Wings III34.0m (111'7&quot;)Custom Line2005">Eagle Wings III</a> began drifting away from her berth, with an SCDF Marine Vessel also deployed as part of the operation. “At the height of the firefighting operation, two water jets from the pontoon and one water monitor from the SCDF Marine Vessel were deployed,” explained the Singapore Civil Defence Force.&nbsp;Eyewitnesses reports state that around 13:40, the yacht was partially submerged in the water.
