Having completed her maiden voyage from The Netherlands to Bergen, Norway last month, the new 58-metre Feadship motor yacht Najiba is on a tour of the Norwegian fjords as her owner is putting his new yacht and her crew through their paces. Najiba will head south after her cruise in Norway to reach the warmer climes of the Mediterranean where the yacht will be based for the summer season. Photo: Tom van OossanenPhoto: Tom van Oossanen
Reporting on the voyage north, owner’s representative of MCM Peter Wilson had the following to say: “The team on board, including Feadship representatives, reported zero issues on the trip up to Norway. The seakeeping of the vessel was excellent and she made good speed, averaging roughly13.5 knots between Amsterdam and Bergen.”Photo: Tom van OossanenPhoto: Tom van Oossanen
The full-aluminium vessel's design comes from the drawing boards of Philippe Briand under the London studio’s Vitruvius brand of yachts. Studio Liaigre's Guillaume Roland worked on the project as interior designers while MCM acted as owner’s representatives during the build.
