Fernando de Almeida Yacht Design has revealed plans for a new 92ft motor yacht to SuperYachtTimes.com. The 92ft superyacht has a semi-displacement hull for moderate speeds, economical operation and long range. With twin 1,000hp engines she can reach a top speed of 19 knots and has a range of 950nm at 15 knots, or up to 2000nm at 8 knots.
The design priority was to maximize the external areas, as the boat is intended to cruise warm tropical waters. The stern platform, aft deck and flybridge are very uncluttered and spacious. The tenders are stored on the flybridge deck, measuring 14m in length and 5m width. The flybridge also features a jacuzzi, sun bathing and sitting areas, bar and steering station.
Inside is the dining area and saloon, which are surrounded by a glass superstructure that will provide spectacular views. The bridge deck has a comfortable elevated settee, a day head and a direct access to the flybridge.
The full beam master suite has a separate entrance. The suite will have a king size bed, sofa, desk and ample storage space. There are three additional guest cabins, two of them with double beds and one with single beds.
Aft of the engine room are the crew quarters with two double bunk cabins, head with separate shower, crew mess, laundry and storage room.
