Ferrari Franchi’s new all aluminium F60 superyacht concept

Written by Charl van Rooy

The F60 is a new superyacht concept created by the Ferrari Franchi studio in Italy. The project measures 60 metres and spans 11.30 metres across accounting for a total volume of 1000 GT.

By moving the main tender storage area inside the bow section, the design leaves the stern with ample space for an oversized beach club and spa area. The aft section opens up on either side of the hull for exceptional views from the gym and jet-ski storage areas. Outside one finds open deck spaces allowing guests to fully enjoy the outdoors. The forward upper deck is a vast space ideal for entertaining and is also utilised as a touch and go helicopter landing pad.

F60 can accommodate up to 12 guests over six cabins with a full beam master suite with private balcony and a VIP suite located on the upper deck. An open plan saloon in main deck leads out onto the aft deck which houses an infinity pool measuring 4.5 metres across by 3 metres. This area is surrounded by a comfortable sunbathing and lounging area.

The yacht’s all-aluminium construction will allow it to reach a top speed of 20 knots. A total of 12 crew members will live aboard the yacht.
