Following the official presentation of the vessel at the 2016 editions of Boot Düsseldorf and Yachts Miami Beach, Ferretti has released further information and renderings of their latest 26 metre superyacht project: the Ferretti Yachts 850.
The new model is the result of a close collaboration between Studio Zuccon International Project who undertook the exterior design, and the Ferretti Group’s in-house design and engineering teams.
She has a bold profile characterised by sharp angles, with two trapezoidal hull windows with integrated, large portholes to maximise the amount of natural light and provide magnificent views from the inside.
On board she accommodates up to eight guests over four en-suite cabins on the lower deck. The owner’s suite features a study area as well as a large wardrobe and spacious storage compartments, whilst two spacious VIP cabins are located amidships and forward. The fourth cabin is fitted with twin beds.
“The Ferretti Yachts 850 is one of two brand new models that Ferretti Yachts is presenting in 2016. Both yachts will be previewed over the summer before their worldwide launch at the Cannes boat show," comments Ferretti Group’s Chief Commercial Officer, Stefano De Vivo. “The Ferretti Yacht 850 plays a key role in the evolution of our range. It features captivating design and bold performance, but also seductive interiors, comparable to those one would find in a sumptuous loft apartment. We are proud to be presenting a yacht that will leave luxury boating enthusiasts breathless as soon as they step aboard.”
In regards to her outside spaces, the flybridge can be entirely furnished with freestanding furniture to suit individual owner's’ needs and desires. On the port side, the practical and comfortable helm station features a large divan seat with room for the co-pilot. On the starboard side is a cocktail bar with several storage compartments and worktops.
There is a second outdoor lounge area on the foredeck for relaxing in utmost privacy when moored stern-to. Designed to maintain a family oriented ambiance, the area is very spacious and features a large central sunpad, seating and a dinette with height-adjustable table.
Equipped with MAN engines, prospective owners are offered two different engine options: twin V12 engines for a cruising speed of 26 knots and a maximum speed of 29 knots, or more powerful twin V12 engines which offer a cruising speed of 27 knots and a maximum speed of 31 knots.
The Ferretti Yachts 850 will be constructed at the Cattolica shipyard, and make her official debut at Cannes Yachting Festival 2016.
