The 80-metre superyacht, Project 263 from the Turkish yard, Bilgin Yachts has been launched today from the yard's metal works facility in Yalova and is now ready for outfitting. After her launch, the Bilgin Project 263 was towed to Bilgin Yachts’ brand-new outfitting facilities at Istanbul West Marina and placed in one of the three 90-metre slots of the massive superyacht hangar.
Due for delivery at the end of 2019, the vessel features exterior design and naval architecture from Unique Yacht Design and a striking interior styling by H2 Yacht Design. On board, one of her standout features upon completion will be her huge beach-club and spa area.
With a fully optimised and tank-tested hull, Project 263 promises top performances in terms of both range efficiency and speed. Two MTU 16V 4000 M63R engines will support the 80-metre vessel on her first sea trials and beyond, with a top speed of 20 knots at half-load displacement and a range at cruising speed of over 5,000 nautical miles.
