Written by Vivian Hendriksz

Horizon Yachts has delivered its first new custom superyacht, the Horizon CC115 to her new Mexican owner following her successful sea trials earlier this month. Designed to fulfil her owner’s yachting lifestyle needs, the 35-metre superyacht’s delivery comes ahead of its world debut at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show later this year.

Rover, who worked with the in-house design team at the Taiwanese-yard to help bring the owner’s vision to life. Spending quality time with family and friends is at the centre of the yacht’s design which aims to make the most used of the spaces on board. For example, the foredeck featured a theatre area with bow cushions, ideal for a movie night together.  Horizon CC115 flybridgePhoto: Horizon YachtsHorizon CC115 salonPhoto: Horizon YachtsThe CC115 also boasts a spacious beach club, which is accessed by large sliding glass doors, that features a day head and plenty of storage for the family’s water toys. The manually operated swim platform, which allows the owner’s seaplane or jet skis to be transported, is another key example of the custom-built features onboard of the new superyacht.  Horizon CC115 salonPhoto: Horizon YachtsHorizon CC115 galleyPhoto: Horizon YachtsOnboard the CC115 features modern decor selected together with architecture and interior design firm Taller ADG, which complements the bespoke furniture and silver and grey colour palette. Up to ten guests can be accommodated in five spacious, ensuite staterooms, including an on-deck, full-beam master cabin. The captain’s cabin, located behind the wheelhouse, can also be converted into an extra guest cabin, or used by the crew if needed.  Horizon CC115 master cabinPhoto: Horizon YachtsHorizon CC115 pilot housePhoto: Horizon Yachts“She is a true masterpiece and a reflection of teamwork between the owners, Horizon, and Cor,” says Horizon Group CEO John Lu. “We are proud to have built such a special luxury yacht and wish the owners years of memorable cruises and family fun on board.”  Horizon CC115 VIP cabinPhoto: Horizon YachtsThe CC115 is powered by twin CAT C32 ACERT diesel engines, which give her a cruising speed of 12 knots and a maximum speed of 17 knots.
