First look: inside the Pacific-cruising Endless Summer
A unique North American collaboration between Christensen and Delta Marine has resulted in the delivery of a brand new, pedigree motor yacht. Currently underway in the very middle of the Pacific Ocean, 49.9-metre superyacht Endless Summer is gearing up for a fun maiden season in New Zealand and Fiji to prove just how well-equipped she is to accommodate guests no matter how remote the location.

The sheer space offered by the large hull was put to good use all around the yacht and it is especially on the exterior where this is particularly noticeable. Walk-around main and upper decks make service and maintenance for the yacht’s 9 crew members a breeze and guests will always be able to find a quiet spot outside with this much freedom to move about.
A Portuguese deck ahead of the bridge provides a splendid setting from which to enjoy the once-in-a-lifetime scenery in which Endless Summer will find herself this upcoming winter season. Breakfast, lunch or even a private starlight dinner, this hideout is perfect for escaping the more crowded spots on board.
The sundeck, big enough to house the yacht’s main guest tender (another is stowed in the foredeck) becomes the ultimate outdoor guest meeting area. Stretching over half of the yacht’s length, this is one expansive area full of social areas including a huge bar, barbeque area, lounge and forward sunbathing area that surrounds the Jacuzzi
Inside, the team at VARO finished Endless Summer in an elegant and homely atmosphere with rich fabrics and strong Peruvian walnut, known for its contemporary use in high-end real estate. Bamboo and Sapele provides a more toned-down feeling elsewhere across the guest areas, but here in the main saloon the contrasting colours and symmetrical layout make for a stately atmosphere and the perfect first impression of the interior.
The upper saloon is somewhat more playful and can be used for informal gatherings or meeting for a lazy evening enjoying your favourite film on the big screen TV.
Accommodation for up to 12 guests is available on board and the grandest of them all is the master suite forward on the main deck. The suite benefits from the full width of the yacht and large portholes on either side and the bright décor makes this room feel even larger.
The lower deck houses the five guest staterooms, each as luxuriously finished as the next.
For the adventurous guests on board, Endless Summer’s fully-equipped beach club will come as a welcome break. Three jet skis, hoverboards, kiteboard, paddleboards, SeaBobs and full diving gear not to mention the range of inflatable toys, slide and drones – you name it and Endless Summer can provide.
Currently deep in the Pacific Ocean, Endless Summer will be available to charter in New Zealand/Fiji this 2017/2018 winter season from US$ 250,000 per week and in the South Pacific for the coming 2018 summer season at the same rate. For more information, visit Y.CO here.
