Wim van der Valk Continental Yachts have recently announced the hull and superstructure of the Continental Trawler 37M, have joined. The hull and superstructure have been sandblasted and preserved both internally and externally.
Plumbing, piping and initial preparations for interior carpentry have already been started up and, moreover, the final interior design has been determined and approved. The classic art nouveau inspired Guido de Groot Design interior will be made of entandrophragma cylindricum sprague mahogany combined with mahogany crotch and madrona burl inlays.
She can easily accommodate up to 8 guests over four luxurious cabins, including the generous owner’s suite which is elegantly designed in a neutral colour scheme. The owner’s suite features a large private bathroom, spacious walk-in wardrobe area, efficient office space and an abundance of natural light through the several large windows. The whole area exudes a welcoming, homely, yet sophisticated area for the vessels owner’s to relax in the utmost comfort and style.
The main saloon and dining area matches this convivial atmosphere perfectly. The cosy dining area is a versatile space ideal for an intimate drink, or sumptuous fine dining for up to 8 people. The main saloon provides a perfect space for entertaining and relaxing on the comfortable sofas and armchairs spaced around the room. Like the owner’s suite, these areas are surrounded by large windows and is connected to the modern, spacious aft deck with open double doors, creating a light and airy space with sensational views to take in and enjoy.
The Continental Trawler 37M will also accommodate up to 6 crew members divided over 3 cabins, including the captain. The yacht will be the first ever to have a new anti-roll damping system fitted. This in combination with the hull form design makes her a stable and comfortable yacht with great range and efficiency. The Trawler 37 metre is due for delivery in spring 2015
