AB Yachts launched their largest yacht to date, the AB 145, last month. The following photos display the yacht’s modern interior Italian styling and her aggressive, yet composed exterior image when underway.
The yacht has been fitted with MJP waterjets allowing the AB 145 to reach top speed exceeding 42 knots. Engineers at AB Yachts paid special attention to the noise and vibration levels on board, and succeeded in achieving guest areas to be as quite and comfortable as possible while underway or at anchor.
Deck spaces have been designed to match the yacht’s functional and minimalistic design, with a spacious aft deck that connects seamlessly to the salon inside.
Contrasting living areas invite guests to feel at home in a loft-style interior with square surfaces creating a sense of structure and practicality. Various woods and a mixture of royal colours have been used to add dimension to the otherwise singular guest spaces.
The master cabin forward on main deck has to be the finest space on the AB 145’s interior. A wonderfully illuminated suite instantly makes one feel at home and inspires a clean and tranquil lifestyle. The same wood paneling and flooring is continued here.
A grand balcony opens on the starboard side of the suite and transforms the entire space into the ultimate relaxing area. A cleverly designed private staircase leads up to the private terrace on the foredeck above, where guests can enjoy time in the sun when at anchor.
The remaining 3 double and 1 twin cabin are located on the lower deck, and are decorated in the same light and elegant style as the other guest areas on board. Throughout the interior the use of lighting adds a softening effect to the prominent sharp-edged design.
The AB 145 will be on display at this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival
