First look: On board the 44.2m Feadship Moon Sand

Fleet

Launched in April 2015 by the Dutch shipyard Feadship, the following photos present an exclusive first look on board the 44.20 metre superyacht Moon Sand. Featuring interior design by the British studio Bannenberg & Rowell Design, her owner liaised with De Voogt Design closely throughout her build.

Up to eight guests are accommodated on board over four luxurious staterooms. A crew of eight are also accommodated for.

Amongst her stand out characteristics are her expansive aft deck areas and ample loose seating on both the main and bridge decks. On the latter, the stairs have been moved as far to starboard as possible in order to maximise space.

The 6.2 metre tender is located in its own garage as to maximise space on board, allowing room for a large swimming pool on the main deck aft, which features an ingenious lifting floor system whereby a section of the deck lowers down to provide the pool depth required.

Large windows are found on the bridge deck lounge, main lounge, dining area, study/lobby and forward owner’s stateroom, all of which offer superlative views and an abundance of natural light. These are magnified further on the main deck by having a large section of clear glass inset into the bulwark amidships.
