Sunseeker decided to unveil their latest superyacht on home ground during the 62nd London Boat Show. The newly developed 40m Sunseeker 131 named ZOZO was unveiled during the show in the presence of her owner and SYT was invited on board during a brisk London afternoon to experience her tasteful guest spaces first hand.
Based on the proven Sunseeker 40M deep V-hull, the new 131 Yacht provides an excellent platform for clients to consider a tested platform with a customizable interior through the selection of fabrics, furniture and various layout options. As the first hull in the 131 Yacht line, ZOZO's owner opted four a four cabin layout on the lower deck with an additional five cabin arrangement also available.
A standard layout is otherwise maintained with a grand and very bright master suite located forward on main deck. The side windows widen here to let in even more light and provides this area with a view only matched by the outdoor relaxation spaces. A functional yet stylish three quarter beam bathroom adds that special element to the suite, often found missing on other yachts in this size range.
A large part of the yacht has been dedicated to exterior spaces, each of which offers a good balance between covered and exposed sun bathing areas. The upper salon leads out onto a vast upper aft deck. High quality free standing furniture here and on sun deck can be arranged to suit any entertainment requirement. A large wooden dining table is placed here, ideal for lazy morning breakfasts or large family gatherings.
A wrap around Portuguese deck houses a generous raised sun pad with a forward facing settee where guests can enjoy their sunset cocktails with an uninterrupted view. A sunken foredeck area becomes a perfect hideout for crew while at anchor.
In regards to her performance, the tri-deck yacht has a top speed of 23 knots and a range of 1,500 nm at a speed of 10 knots.
