First RINA Green Star Plus superyacht to be built in China

Kingship will offer a new motor yacht design to the market. The Green Voyager is a 45m superyacht from the drawing board of Axis Group Yacht Design of Viareggio and will be the first built in China to the new RINA Green Star plus notation.

The RINA green star notation requires technical and operational systems to ensure the superyacht’s build and operation is in excess of MARPOL and other regulatory requirements offering lowered environmental impact. The notation also requires approval and an initial periodic survey is voluntary. There are three levels: Gold, Silver and Platinum. Kingship is currently working on refining the Green Voyager design to achieve platinum standard and in certain areas to exceed it.

The motor yacht will be of a radical form, propulsion, efficiency and style. It is intended to meet the needs of the client who seeks a world cruising yacht, ensuring that it is fuel efficient and the seas she cruises are less polluted. Green Voyager will leave little more than a wake behind her. This superyacht will also be able to visit special sea areas where higher than normal environmental restrictions apply that place them off limits to most other yachts.
