Hull number one of Sanlorenzo’s latest addition to its GRP planning range, the SL 78, has been sold to an Asian client and will call Hong Kong her home following delivery in May 2017. The shipyard’s distributor in Asia, Simpson Marine, secured the contract.

The model will be showcased for the first time at next week’s Cannes Yachting Festival. The SL 78 features high levels of customisation on board, according to the shipyard. The yacht’s flowing lines were developed by Officina Italiana and perfectly adheres to Sanlorenzo’s ‘timeless elegance’ philosophy.

Just some of the features we can expect on board are oversized windows throughout the superstructure and area and below deck in the hull. Main deck has been designed as one single open space to increase space, but also the flow of guest traffic.

A large flybridge with a glass-paneled T-top creates a welcomed chill zone from where guests can dine, sunbathe and even steer the yacht through the outdoor helm station.
