Fitzroy's latest superyacht Ohana in Auckland

photo 141556Superyacht Ohana was launched last week in New Zealand by Fitzroy Yachts, and has been undergoing seatrials since. One of our readers took this picture of her, in the port of Auckland.

Built in aluminium, with a fixed bulb keel, Ohana has a cool grey exterior with distinctive touches of yellow. She features a 63.1 metre Southern Spars rig and will fly sails by Doyle Sails and Stratis, with a total sail area of 4,085 m2 including her main sail of 636 m2 and a gennaker of 1,600 m2. Under sail she will achieve a maximum speed of 18 knots.

Her owner will enjoy a well-appointed master cabin located aft with additional accommodation for 10 guests in five cabins. The main deck, filled with natural light, is home to a generous salon and dining space for guests to enjoy.

The yacht was built for a European client, and will be delivered shortly after the seatrials have ended.
