Four Sanlorenzo yachts on display in Fort Lauderdale

Sanlorenzo will exhibit four yachts at the upcoming Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS), from October 25th – 29th 2012. The customized yachts on display will be the SL72 (22m), SL94 (28,60 m), SL104 (31,70 m) and SD92 (27.60m). Three SL models will be displayed from the Sanlorenzo planing hull range, which are built in fiberglass at the historical shipyard of Ameglia, Italy.

This particular SL72 features a wonderfully spacious four-stateroom layout, CNC’s Zero and AtSpeed stabilization, and includes a hydraulic swim platform with an enlarged flybridge layout. Particular attention was given to creating an open, barrier-free living area utilizing the available space to its greatest advantage. The overall combined area was designed to graciously accommodate a large family or multiple guests in a casually elegant environment.

The most recent model in the fleet is the SL94, which won two international accolades in her first 10 months on the water: with Boat of the Year and also the prestigious Environmental Protection Neptune Award, from the World Superyacht Design Awards 2012. This will be the SL94’s debut appearance at FLIBS.

Offering an innovative layout, this SL94 yacht has four staterooms to accommodate 10 guests. She offers a magnificent focal point in the salon, with sculptural grid work of burnished hide leathers, laced with stainless steel accents, supported on a freestanding stainless structure. A vast area on the flybridge can be enjoyed thanks to extraordinary space utilization, which allows for the tender to be stored in the garage.

The SL104 is also a recent award recipient, being presented with the Italian Design Award for Innovation. She boasts a spectacular five-stateroom layout and an unrivaled flybridge area that is dedicated to outdoor dining and socializing. The interior was envisioned in a graphic palette of black and creamy white, where this tranquil collection embraces the streamlined modernism of the Sanlorenzo yacht. Fossilized marbles have been carved to complement the rustic beauty of natural, time worn stones, whilst supple leathers are used as a design element creating yet another layer of tactile interest.

The SD92 on display is from the Sanlorenzo Semi-Displacement range: which is also available at 110ft and 122ft. Bringing terrific advantages to the cruising range and comfort to her guests when underway, this range boasts an astonishing vibration-free and noise-free interior environment. The elegant grey colored hull has a New England style bespoke interior design: offering luxurious, uncomplicated materials that are layered with nautical accents and eclectic elements, like limewashed wood and satin nickel finishes.

Sanlorenzo Yachts that are built for the Americas are designed from the outset to be specifically geared to the nuisances of the region, including the 60-cycle Americanization of the onboard electrics, additional air conditioning and innovative layouts.
