Fourth Amels 60 has been sold

Amels and Damen Yachting have announced that the fourth unit of its Amels 60 series, Amels 6003, has been sold. The 60-metre superyacht will be the third hull of the series to be delivered, when she is delivered to her owner in 2023.The sale was concluded with Imperial representing the owner. The Amels 6003 marks the 12th project to be built in collaboration with Amels and Damen Yachting since 2007. Julia Stewart, the Director of Imperial, remarked, ”Imperial and Amels have enjoyed a long term and successful cooperation over the past decade. We have several projects under construction and we are delighted to build this new iconic yacht together. Espen Øino will of course add great value to the project and reflects our joint commitment to delivering an outstanding yacht to the owner. We very much look forward to commencing construction, during which Imperial will act as Construction Supervisor and Owner’s Representative.”

The superyacht Amels 6003 was designed by famed superyacht designer Espen Øino International, while her naval architecture is the work of Damen Yachting. The superyacht will sport a hybrid power and propulsion system.Photo: AmelsCentral to the design of the Amels 6003, which has a generous interior volume of 830 GT, was to maximise space onboard as well as creating a design to enhance the experience of all those who step aboard.

Winch Design has been selected by the yacht’s owner to complete the interior design. The superyacht will accommodate as many as 12 guests onboard, and features a generous owner’s stateroom with a balcony.Photo: AmelsOn deck, a large sun deck, which runs almost half the length of the yacht, is found while a spacious swim platform is located at the yacht’s transom. A 9-metre tender is stowed on the foredeck.
