This legal framework aimed to enable them to restructure, while continuing to operate under the supervision of an independent expert.Following this, on 20 April, the Court of Florence granted protective measures for a maximum period of four months, restricting creditors from initiating or continuing enforcement actions against the company’s assets, including vessels currently under construction.The court also confirmed that these protective measures extended to shipowners, which prevented them from terminating their contracts of yachts currently under construction during the proceedings.The Court of Florence has now issued an order upholding the appeals filed by five shipowners which prevented them terminating their contracts.
