Fraser finds new owner for 40m superyacht Unity
The 39.62-metre superyacht Unity has been sold through an in-house deal at Fraser Yachts after being on the market for nearly 12 months. Stuart Larsen and Josh Gulbranson of the Fraser Ft Lauderdale office represented the seller - Josh also introduced the buyer.
Delivered in 2003 by Palmer Johnson, naval architecture of Unity was created by Dutch design studio Vripack, whereas her exterior design is the result of a collaboration between Palmer Johnson and Murray & Associates L.L.C. Her second owner and 11 guests can be accommodated in five staterooms: a full-beam master suite, VIP suite, two doubles and a twin.
Photo: Merijn de Waard / SuperYacht TimesThe interior design by A La Mer features a full-beam sky lounge, including a bar and games table. Guests can also enjoy the sundeck and Jacuzzi surrounded by sun pads, a bar and a barbecue grill.
Twin 1,000hp CAT diesel engines give Unity sufficient power to reach a cruising speed of 12 knots. At the time of sale, Unity had an asking price of $6,900,000.
