Fraser Yachts celebrate the Art of Bespoke Design

Events

Fraser Yachts London celebrated the Art of Bespoke Design in style last month in conjunction with Garrard, the oldest jeweller in the world at their flagship store on Albemarle Street, Mayfair, London.

Both brands are proud of a heritage that dates back many years. Fraser Yachts and Garrard base their brands on tradition and innovation, and both are worldwide. Garrard’s connection with the yachting world dates back to the America’s Cup in 1848, where Garrard designed the famous cup that all yachting enthusiasts know today. Garrard pride themselves in their synonymous ability with fine jewellery and craftsmanship at all levels.

Over 100 high net worth individuals, including several well known faces came together to celebrate this new relationship, to a champagne reception and delicious canapés. Many international clients travelled to the event, along with representatives from Benetti. Benetti are one of the oldest superyacht builders in the world, delivering world-class yachts since 1873. Their relationship with Fraser Yachts began in 2004 and has enjoyed staggering success since. Benetti are now the world’s leading shipyard in terms of production output.

Matthew Porter, the Retail Director of Garrard London, and Vincenzo Moccia, the Sales and Marketing Director for Benetti both spoke of similarities in their approaches to deliver the ultimate service and quality to their global clientele.

Many beautiful pieces of jewellery, a replica of the America’s Cup and Benetti’s own uniquely elegant and successful jewel in their fleet, namely a scale model of the Benetti Classic were the highlights of the night. Words such as understated elegance, classy sophistication with a chic, contemporary edge easily bring to mind the unique and beautifully tailored style as you board any Classic Benetti.

Combined with the use of the most up-to-date technology and classic yet modern lines of this luxury motor-yacht, the second generation of which is now on the market, the Benetti classic is but one of its kind representing the range of yachts currently on offer from the London based office.

Stephen Abery, Senior Sales Broker for Fraser’s London, commented on a successful year for the London team, with strong prospects in place for 2009. When describing the provision of their high level of service, he says “Fraser’s London Team is uniquely international in outlook and experience, catering for a truly diverse clientele arriving from as far as the Middle East and Russia.

Our clientele recognises London’s strategic location for both business and pleasure and we are delighted to provide our services by utilising our enthusiastic and professional attitude combined with an absolute commitment to excellence of service to ensure we achieve outstanding results for our clients.”

As a world leading full-service yachting company, Fraser’s have a team of experts ready to support, advise and assist their clients in every aspect of luxury yacht ownership and operation. Whatever their clients’ yachting desires may be, their experienced team handle all requirements with the utmost professionalism and discretion. “Yachting should be an enjoyable experience.
