Fraser Yachts was first established by David Fraser in 1947 in Newport Beach on the West Coast, USA. The company has grown from humble beginnings to become the world’s number one superyacht brokerage company, selling more yachts over 24m than any other company in both 2011 and 2012 (ytd).
Fraser Yachts has chosen to celebrate this historic anniversary in a variety of different ways. The latest edition of FRASER magazine features a young David on the front cover, at the helm of the Anna R. Heidritter. David worked on the four‐masted schooner as a young boy and she features prominently in the crest that sits proudly above Fraser Yachts’ logo.
At this year’s Monaco Yacht Show and FLIBS the uniforms for the staff of Fraser Yachts feature a prominent “65” on both the front and back of the design in recognition of this significant anniversary. Plus a collage of pictures of David Fraser and Fraser Yachts through the ages, from his first days onboard the Anna R. Heidritter to the first adverts that were used in the brokerage market has been incorporated into both stand designs, as well as regular adverts throughout the year.
Patrick Coote, Global Marketing Director commented “The Fraser Yachts team owes a huge debt of gratitude to David Fraser for his hard work and determination in those early years. His high standards, honesty, integrity and strong ethics are values that have subsequently become the foundation of our company culture”.
