Fraser Yachts have announced the sale of Latinou, a 52m 2008 Benetti superyacht. An impressive 240 tons of steel and aluminium, 80,000 metres of cables, 4,000 metres of piping have gone into the construction of Latinou.
Add to this 3,600 metres of cherry wood paneling, marble and crystal, plus around 100 metres of the finest fabrics and highest quality leather and a masterpiece is created.
The decoration theme of Latinou is contemporary art deco. The objective of the Owner and Mauro Izzo, the interior decorator of the shipyard, was to create a special and fine atmosphere that would evocate the ambiance and grandeur of the Transatlantic ocean liners from the 1920s and the 1930s (Normandie, Queen Elisabeth, France, Rex), but without going too deep into details though, so as to be able to combine this kind of decoration with a modern touch.
