Freire Shipyard lays keel of new 100m+ superyacht explorer

Freire Shipyard has laid the keel of an all-new superyacht project that will exceed 100-metres in length. Freire 105m Explorer in-build “We are proud of the extremely efficient hull which went through an extensive design and tank testing program to make it one the most fuel-efficient and stable hull designs,” the owner’s representative commented.

The superyacht is set to be an intrepid explorer, and is expected to have around 4,000 GT of interior volume. The contract for this project was signed last year and the cutting of the first steel plates took place in May 2022. It is expected that her hull and superstructure will be completed in August 2023, ahead of her delivery in 2024. Freire Shipyard is also underway with another project that exceeds 100-metres – the 112-metre superyacht explorer, scheduled for completion later this year. This project features an exterior and interior design by Bannenberg & Rowell Design and Marin Teknikk AS, and is estimated to offer an incredible 6,950 GT of interior volume.
