Golden Boy II, a 115ft Sovereign, is probably the superyacht which has the youngest owner. The yacht was recently sold to the 23 year old Matt Sawyer. After he bought the yacht he took her to Knight & Carver YachtCenter in San Diego for a 4 month refit. Before he bought Golden Boy II he already owned a 94ft Hargrave, Golden Boy, which he had bought at the age of 22!

Ecstasea recently paid a visit to Poole on her way to Blohm & Voss in Hamburg. This was reason enough for The Sun to rumour that her owner might be looking for a house in the region.

Famous yacht designer Willem de Vries Lentsch died at an age of 87 on Saturday 27 January 2007. He will be sadly missed by the industry.

The new Broward 120 will make her debut at the upcoming Miami Boat Show. The MCA and ABS classed yacht has a length of 120ft (36.58m) and can accommodate 10 guests in 5 staterooms.

The 32.16m (105.51) sportfisher Karyatis is still moored at the Heesen yard in Oss. The Pieter Beeldsnijder designed yacht was completed in 2005, but for unknown reasons she still remains at the yard.
