A memorable milestone was reached last week at Selene Yachts’ facilities as the deck was fitted on the new Selene 92 Ocean Explorer. This means that the hull is now complete and construction on other elements can proceed at full speed.
The interior and exterior of the new boat come from the drawing table of the renowned designer Guido de Groot, and will be both modern and luxurious. The large salon will appear even more spacious thanks to the large windows in the superstructure, which will let in extraordinary amounts of light while also affording great views.
The wheelhouse will be well thought-through and ergonomic, and will comprise remote controls for all systems. The view to the outside will be open, as could be expected from a pedigree explorer yacht, and several cameras will provide additional eyes in tough spots.
The yacht will be delivered in the spring of 2014.
