It was a sight to match for sightseers in Poole/Dorset last weekend: Global Boat Shipping loaded 4 super yachts for the Mediterranean.
The largest yacht was a Sunseeker Predator M5 (140t), accompanied by two 28m yachts (each 80t), also Sunseekers. Poole is the home of luxury motorboat manufacturer Sunseeker. The fourth yacht was a 17m yacht from Princess Yachts in Plymouth.
The yachts were loaded on board the MV Eendracht, a Dutch vessel chartered for this voyage. All yachts are scheduled for the Mediterranean. Two are being transported to Nice, were they will arrive this weekend. The other to are bound for Malta and expected to arrive in the middle of next week.
GBS Yacht Transport organized the transport, supervised the loading and a supercargo will also be present during discharging. Additionally GBS provided necessary cradles.
