Superyacht design firm Gian Paolo Nari have released images of their latest project, project NP55. NP55 is a 55 metre expedition vessel, designed to circumnavigate the world in total comfort and safety.
Her preliminary specification calls for twin 1380kW Caterpillar 3512B DITA diesels, which will give the NP55 a range of 5.000 nm, at a speed of 11.5 knots, carrying approximately 110.000 liters of diesel.
The steel yacht is capable of sleeping 12 guests in 6 suites, has well proportioned lounges and large open and covered deck spaces for entertaining. Her sundeck, capable of carrying a large helicopter, features a bar/dining facility being served by a food lift and a Jacuzzi aft of her mast structure, and a generous forward sunbathing area.
A second Jacuzzi is located aft on the main deck, and is flanked by two cleverly concealed jet ski’s, and more sunpads. The aft bridge deck offers ample space for alfresco dining.
Her lower deck features a wellness centre which includes a bar with direct access to the aft swimplatform.
