Italian company Guidi was once again present at METS, this year with an expanded exhibition space where they are presenting their full range of bronze, brass, chromium plated, nickel plated and aluminium accessories, non-stick valves, water intakes, thru hulls, water strainers, pipe fittings and valves.
With the new stand exhibiting three works from Jill Mathi, Guidi also presented the whole range of their latest product, Alex valves. This patented product is a non-stick valve with a straight rather than angled full flow, without any head loss, and is extremely efficient regardless of its compact size. The company explain further, stating, “It replaces the valves used conventionally in nautical applications while maintaining their essential features but with greater performance in terms of efficiency, duration and functionality.” The Alex valve is the thirteenth patent from the company.
Guidi have been exhibiting at the trade show in Amsterdam over the past twenty years. Discussing the decision for expansion this year, company founder Bruno Guidi commented, “Here in Amsterdam, we are focusing almost exclusively on our products, their technical value and innovative contents, which are our real strengths. At METS, we dialogue with professionals from all over the world. For a company like ours, this is the best time to present our new items and explain them in detail. Dialogue with such competent customers, partners and distributors is fundamental as it offers useful inputs, helping us to carry on our policy of continuous improvement and development.”
