Meanwhile, at Fort Lauderdale’s <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/4355" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Pier Sixty-Six Marina (Company)">Pier Sixty-Six Marina</a>, there was a fun and educational celebration focusing on teaching boating basics.As well as this, <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/4374" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Metstrade (Company)">Metstrade</a>, in collaboration with Plastic Whale and The Ocean Conservation Trust, invited exhibitors, visitors and communities worldwide to take part in a collective action for cleaner waters. The Gulf Superyacht Summit, is a 2-day annual event which seeks to inform, assist and advise yachting clients and related interested parties, with the goal to develop the Gulf as a superyacht winter destination.&nbsp;The Gulf region is of growing importance to the superyacht industry. Dubai has some of the biggest marina developments in the world and the annual Formula 1 event in Abu Dhabi attracts a large crowd of superyachts. A growing number of yachts are using the UAE as a hub from where they travel further east to places like the Seychelles, Maldives, Indonesia and Thailand.&nbsp;This year, the Gulf Superyacht Summit will be held at the Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers, located in Abu Dhabi on Thursday&nbsp;4&nbsp;and Friday 5 December.
