The Blue Coast 95' Cartouche, the first Blue Coast yacht, designed by naval architect Jean-Jacques Coste and built by H2X shipyard, was launched on Wednesday, September 29 at La Ciotat, after a record construction time of 14 months.
The owners, the shipyard team and the designer Jean-Jacques Coste, initiator of the Blue Coast Yachts range and Director of Coste Design & Partners, were all very proud of this incredible achievement.
The naval architect and the builder were very happy to see their creation in the water exactly as they had anticipated: "The boat is perfectly within her lines and trim, this is very satisfying, because we haven’t renounced to any element of comfort and Cartouche is fitted with the latest in equipment.”
Construction, fully managed by H2X, started in August 2009. "The first review of this project is very satisfying," said Maurice Klein, General Manager of the shipyard. "The quality of construction is of the highest level and we can build a sister ship even faster if we are asked to.”
Designed exclusively for private use, the Blue Coast 95’ is a pure one-off which enjoys the unmatched experience of Coste Design and H2X in such projects. This triple-deck yacht, sloop rigged is also one of the largest catamarans in the world with a length of 28.80 metres and beam of 12 metres.
