The 50m Heesen superyacht Aura has been launched

Heesen's 49.9-metre superyacht Aura has been launched at the facility in Oss and is now due for delivery in April of next year. Aura features exterior design from Clifford Denn, who was inspired by classic automotive design elements in the lines of this latest Heesen yacht. She features a round-bilge that will lend her maximum comfort for the long passages that her 3,800 nautical mile range affords. Today, we are celebrating the technical launch of this new 50-metre. For us, as the new crew of Aura, the pride and excitement we feel watching this new build take that step is no different. We couldn’t be more thrilled to be part of this journey with the Heesen shipyard and its incredible people. We look forward to the boat’s completion and the voyages and experiences we have in store together.”Aura yacht launch at Heesen YachtsPhoto: Dick HolthuisIn the coming months Aura will undergo outfitting at the shipyard before sailing to Hellevoetsluis to undergo intensive tests in the North Sea.Aura yacht exterior designDelivery is scheduled for the end of April.
