In pictures: Heesen's 50m superyacht Book Ends unveiled

Heesen's latest yacht, the 50-metre superyacht Book Ends has been unveiled following her launch earlier this month. The superyacht was sold under the name Project Sapphire in September 2021 by Thom Conboy to repeat Heesen clients who previously owned the 46.7-metre Artisa (then also called Book Ends.)Book Ends yacht on sea trialsPhoto: Ruben GriffioenBook Ends yacht on sea trialsPhoto: Ruben GriffioenThe superyacht features exterior design from Omega Architects, the Dutch studio led by Frank Laupman, which has worked with Heesen Yachts extensively over recent years, penning the exteriors of recently launched yachts such as the 55-metre Moskito, the 60.4-metre Lusine and Moskito's 55 Steel sisterships Soul and Vida. Her naval architecture comes from the boards of Dutch studio Van Oossanen Naval Architects.Book Ends yacht on sea trialsPhoto: Ruben GriffioenThe shots of her sea trials show a large amount of exterior space, with a raised lounge area on the aft of the main deck, a large round dining table on the upper deck and a Jacuzzi, bar and dining area on the sundeck. The few shared renders show a bright and light interior with a colour neutral palette utilising war woods and marbles. Book Ends can accommodate as many as 12 guests between five staterooms, with five additional cabins to host her nine crew. The yacht has now completed her sea trials and the interior outfitting is now nearing completion ahead of her delivery.
