The 50m Heesen superyacht Omaha in Palm Beach
Photo: Merijn de Waard / SuperYacht TimesBuilt by Heesen Yachts and launched in April 2018, the new 49.9-metre superyacht Omaha is the first of her kind in Heesen’s 50-metre Steel Class of motor yachts. Designed by Clifford Denn, who also worked with the Dutch shipyard on the custom 50-metre motor yacht Ann G (now Lady Li), Omaha’s exterior style was inspired by the automotive world and the shape of certain classic cars in particular. For the interior, Omaha’s owners worked closely with Reymond Langton and Heesen’s in-house team of designers to create a contemporary living space that is bright and airy through the use of light-bleached oak with contrasting stained walnut accents. Here Omaha is seen in downtown Palm Beach earlier this month.
