Delivered to her American owner this summer, Vida is intended to be used as a mothership and will be capable of supporting a fleet of smaller sportfishing vessels through onboard supplies and fuel. Designed by Omega Architects (exterior) and Francesco Paszkowski together with Be Design Associates (interior), Vida is based on Van Oossanen’s innovative Fast Displacement Hull Form (FDHF) that not only provides an efficient range of 4,500 nm at 13 knots, but helps Vida reach a top speed of 16.4 knots with both MTU 8V4000 M63 engines running at full power.
