Heesen Yachts has announced new details about its 57-metre explorer concept named Xventure. The shipyard based in Oss, the Netherlands, presented the concept together with British design heavyweights Winch at this year’s Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, after having teased a basic rendering at the 2018 Monaco Yacht Show.Heesen 57m Xventure concept renderingPhoto: Heesen

Heesen and Winch set out to create the “ultimate explorer yacht” which will allow owners to go off the beaten path from the comfort of a seven-star luxury motor yacht. With an efficient FDHF hull design, Xventure has a cruising range of 5,000 nautical miles. In terms of power, owners can opt for an eco-friendly hybrid propulsion system for reduced fuel consumption, as well as low noise and vibration. In addition, Xventure will also comply with the latest IMO Tier III exhaust and pollution emission regulations.Heesen 57m Xventure concept renderingPhoto: Heesen

Designed with exploration in mind, Xventure comes with a helipad aft providing landing facilties for an Airbus H135 helicopter, with a double-height tender garage and side garage offering room for an 11.4-metre sports fishing boat and an 8.6-metre Beachlander tender. The yacht is also equipped to carry Jet Skis, a submarine, scuba diving equipment, a 4.5-metre crew tender, fishing equipment and various personal watercraft.
