Photo: Tom van OossanenDesigned by H2 Yacht Design, Galvas is an evolution of Heesen’s 55m Steel Class platform. Seen yesterday cruising the North Sea, the 2019 build is one of two Heesen yachts to carry an SCR catalytic system that reduces harmful NOx exhausts emissions and was built according to the latest IMO Tier III regulations. Inside, up to 12 guests can be accommodated for onboard within an interior layout devised by Reymond Langton. Van Oossanen Naval Architects was selected to add the yacht's highly efficient Fast Displacement Hull Form that helps Galvas to reach a top speed of 15.5 knots and a maximum range of 3,100 nm.
