Hill Robinson has announced the appointment of Franc Jansen as Director of Hill Robinson, France based in Antibes as of 1 August 2012. Well known in the industry Franc brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Hill Robinson team.
Franc’s back ground is in commercial shipping and he holds qualifications both as a navigation officer and as an engineer. After his sea going career he worked for London based shipping companies managing commercial ships. During this time Franc was involved in numerous new build projects and repairs across the globe. Franc comes from YPI where he was a group director and was leading the yacht management department for the past 7 years. He is also an active member of the MYBA yacht management committee where he has been involved with new regulations for yachts.
Franc will be responsible as Director for Yacht Management alongside Managing Directors Nick Hill and Niall Robinson. “We are delighted to have Franc to strengthen our team, he’s an added value to our company”, Nick says.
