Holger Kahl steps down as Nobiskrug Managing Director

Holger Kahl has left his position as Managing Director of the German shipyards of the Prinvinest Group. This includes the managing boards of Nobiskrug, German Naval Yards Kiel and Lindeneau Werft. Going forward, Kahl will continue to work within the holding company of the Group in an advisory capacity. Liebler and Jörg Herwig, while the management for German Naval Yards Kiel will be continued by Jörg Herwig and Philipp Maracke.

Meanwhile, at Nobiskrug, the Managing Board will continue with existing members Dr. Bertram C. Liebler and Johan Valentijn at the helm.

Holger Kahl – lawyer and naval architect by profession – joined Nobiskrug shipyard in 2005, when it was still part of tkMS and has been co-managing director of German Naval Yards Kiel since 2011.

Holger Kahl had this to say about his departure: “After more than 10 years at the helm of the German shipyards of Privinvest family, I am glad to increase my focus on other fields of business within the Privinvest group and to also follow up own projects.”
