Horizon Yachts launches 28m motor yacht FD87 Skyline

Taiwan-based shipbuilding company, Horizon Yachts have launched a new motor yacht from their FD87 Skyline series. The yacht belongs to the builders very successful Fast Displacement Series of high-volume motor yachts. The Cor D. Rover Signature Series from which the yacht belongs, had been designed specifically for the Australian market and this yacht, Hull 18 of the line, features five staterooms, with a beach garage and helipad.Horizon FD87/18 yacht cruising The yacht features the Rover-designed FD Series exterior styling, as well as custom interiors from the Dutch designer. The motor yacht has an on-deck masters suite, and the yacht is able to accommodate as many as 10 guests, with the additional cabins situated on the lower deck and each with en suite bathrooms. Horizon FD87/18 yacht cruising The upper deck features a semi-enclosed sky lounge with micro bridge allowing for the accommodation of a larger exterior boat and an indoor/outdoor dining and seating area. To the fore, the yacht features a U-shaped seating area with Jacuzzi and sun loungers.Horizon FD87/18 yacht sun deck This latest hull is powered by twin CAT C32A diesels of 1,600 horsepower each and she will be making her debut in Australia at the end of May.
