The FD-80 sits in between the entry-level FD75 and the voluminous FD90 models with a four stateroom layout and ample exterior spaces.<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/226790/image/large-f1ac5cfa6fdad97fce1e95cdfc9e2fb7.png" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/226790">The FD-80 is characterised by contemporary style lines with an exterior design by <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/43" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Cor D. Rover Design (Company)">Cor D. Rover Design</a>. She will be powered by twin <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/1441" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="MAN (Company)">MAN</a> engines that are predicted to propel her to a comfortable top speed of 17.4 knots.&nbsp;This FD-80 hull is already in-build and is scheduled to be delivered in early 2023.

Rebecca, originally from England, brings over two decades of experience in the yachting industry to her new role. Prized as the “most extreme and advanced 80-HT yet” thanks to the client's specifications. The sold <a data-gid="gid://syiq/Company/2612" href="#managed-by-system" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" title="Otam (Company)">OTAM</a> yacht has an expected delivery in 2025.&nbsp;The owner, who is not just “an expert owner but also has experience as a captain,” supplied the Genoa-based shipyard with customised specifications, including expansive windows to envelope the boat with natural light and a “detailed list of technical and aesthetic requests.”<img src="https://photo-assets.superyachttimes.com/photo/263522/image/large-77da9293d81bfb2529b9c143f8a9323d.jpg" data-gid="gid://syiq/Photo/263522">The custom-built 80HT comprises a hull and deck, which will be laminated in full Kevlar, while the superstructure is constructed from carbon fibre. The result is an exceptionally strong and rigid structure, which is also lightweight for higher performance in terms of top speed and fuel consumption.
